I do a school shoot every year with my boys, this year however is a bit of a tear jerker for me with my youngest son joining his brothers at Primary School. We had a typical walk around our awesome village on a beautiful evening to capture some memories.
If you are thinking of booking a shoot before school starts, please get in touch as I have limited availability.
A beautiful Wedding, untraditional, quirky & cool. Such a pleasure to photograph for such a relaxed couple on a really family orientated day.
A barn ceremony, alpaca feeding, a mass picnic followed by a cake cutting tour, finished off nicely with a silent disco. Perfect.
Big love to my second shooter Natalie, you’re awesome.
Bravo Gemma & Matt – you smashed it!
A few of my favourite images from a recent maternity shoot. You can’t beat some golden hour magic to show off your bump…. and your toddler.
3 weeks to go and she nailed it.
Welcome to the world….
For me as a photographer, births do not come along very often, I don’t actively advertise for them. This little fella was 12 days overdue, after two sweeps and an induction booked the next day it seemed to persuade him to come along just in time.
Situated at the wonderful WJC in Braintree, Rafe was born after a short labour (although poor Mum had been having false alarms for almost a week) with minimal intervention and only gas and air (Bravo, 10lb 6oz!) Rafe came into the world still in his sack which was breath taking to witness.
It’s raw and emotional. I wish so much I had memories like these from my own children’s births. More often than not, parents don’t remember all of those precious little details, they’re kinda busy at the time. So if you are thinking of having your birth captured, get in touch, I am also awesome at holding the gas and air and even got mistaken for a Doula!
Big thanks to K&R for giving me the nod to publish the selected images below, here are just a few that I captured in the 3 hours I was with them…
I was asked to document a riding lesson for a 16th Birthday. Now, I do love a horse but I haven’t photographed them before.
Here are a few of my favourite images from an afternoon spent at Rayne Riding Centre with Maddie and her friends…
This lovely old boy is getting on, the purpose of this shoot was to capture Buster around his favourite people, his family.
In years to come I know these images will be cherished and what better way to spend a morning for me, getting slobbered on!
Look how much affection these guys have for their pooch….
The weather was great yesterday, so we decided to take the boys up the road to watch the planes. Unfortunately they were taking off from our side of the airport and not landing, so they weren’t as close as I’d hoped. Here are a few images to document our trip.
This year I decided to take the plunge and embark on a 365 project. This involves taking a photo everyday for an entire year. I thought this would be easy but at times I’m finding it pretty tough.
Firstly, be gentle with me, this is my first official blog. It may take me a few blogs to ‘warm up’ a bit and get the hang of it!
So, yesterday we travelled up to London for a hospital appointment. The Natural History Museum wasn’t far away, so we popped in for a quick visit. Read More
